Alex popped his “doll” at least twice. I’ve never seen a dummy so sticky…you know, from the tape. To patch the holes. Geez. -Mark “What did you think I was talking about?” Mark had some specific notes on what these “dolls” should (and shouldn’t look like) but my mind went to a rather different place… -Alex “Reality is very disappointing.”
I swear, the mask is hiding a perfectly normal face. Quite unre-“mark”-able one could say. -Mark “Specializing in dad jokes” It’s like we’re looking in a mirror! -Alex “Snugglebuddy”
I can’t get mad. I’ve never legally owned a car in my life. -Alex “Hell on Wheels” Please tell me the key word in this sentence is “owned” and not “legally.” -Mark “Mildly concerned about technicalities.”
The rumors of our deaths are greatly exaggerated. -Alex "I Ate'nt Dead" Bring out your dead! -Mark "Shut up, you'll be stone dead in a moment"
As both Mark and I are overpackers, this hits close to home. -Alex “Always prepared” Just remember kids, you can’t put on what you didn’t bring. -Mark “Has a plethora of Dad-isms”
This strip is completely inaccurate. We both would have scrambled out for even one piece of bacon. And probably fought for it. We would never have even made it to the beer bribery. -Mark “Crap, now I want bacon!” I used to love making pillow and blanket forts, but I’d love to do something on the scale that was done in Community. -Alex “Lord of Fort Fluffytown”
Finally, a good night’s sleep… -Mark “The Sandman has been skipping my house lately” I think getting tranqed is habit forming, but I could be wrong… -Alex “That’s why they call me Red, man. I’m immune!”
Ten years of Damn Heroes! Hard to believe this is it. We hope you’ve all enjoyed reading it as much as we’ve enjoyed making it! Don’t worry, this isn’t it for us in comics though. We will still be creating stuff and helping others do the same.
